Cotswold based handbag designer Alexia Durtnell is well known and admired for her unique, individual style that is displayed in the alluring bags that she designs and hand makes for her Originals by Alexia label.

The Originals by Alexia boutique is located in a converted stable yard in Black Jack Street and it is a treasure trove of beautiful items. A wide selection of Alexia’s bags are always available to purchase, complimented by carefully selected accessories. Black Jack Street was recently said to be ‘The up and coming Bond Street of Cirencester’ (Gloucestershire Echo 13th May 2006)

The demand for Alexia’s products has been steadily increasing and now she not only designs bags for her own label but also designs and produces a range of bags for other exclusive companies such as Cotswold Country Boots.

Autumn 2006 will see the launch of limited edition collections. These collections will feature three or four bag designs with a maximum of twenty being made. Once these bags have been sold no more will be produced, ensuring exclusivity for Alexia’s clients.

Alexia has undertaken commissions for many ladies all over the world and her bags can be spotted from Australia to Argentina.
